“Are You Meditating Daily?”

Did you know that meditating on the Word daily and feeding our spirit is like eating daily and feeding our body?  Do you know how important it is to have a daily Bible reading plan?  I know it’s impossible to study every verse in depth but you should at least read every verse.

The Bible isn’t just a book, it’s God’s instructions to us on how we should live our life while on our temporary assignment on earth.  When we make the time to read and meditate on the Word of God we align ourselves with the guidance we need to make it through the day.

We serve a Living God and the Word of God is alive.  The Word will create, move, bend, contort and break-through whatever it has to in order to make it’s way to you.  Isn’t that what you would do for your children; to do whatever it took to reach them?  The Word of God is God and He loves His children.

The Bible is also critical to our growth and development as Believers.  Written over 3400 years ago the Bible doesn’t always seem like it’s relevant to what we face as Christians today.  But once you open it up and let the Living Word of God reveal itself to you; you are drawn into God’s will for your life and for the world around us.

Bible Reading Plan – Getting Started

There are numerous ways and plans on how to read the bible and you need to determine which way works best for you.  Each week, every Monday, we post one book a week to focus on along with the audio file as well.

I have found that when I follow along in my Bible with the audio file I retain more than just reading it.  You can read, listen to the audio file or do both; again what ever works best for you. The most important thing is that you read the Word.

The Mary Esther Ruth Bible reading plan can be found by simply going to the  “We Meditate” tab and clicking Bible Study Plan or you can use the link below.
