I don’t know about you but hump day can be extremely challenging. A double portion of praise and worship along with Wednesday night service is just what I need to push through the rest of the week.
Released in 1995, on the album “The Inner Court”, “Glory to Glory” is a great way to kick off your morning. And just because I know how challenging hump day can be; I’ve also added “We’re Blessed” from the same album.
We’re blessed in the city
We’re blessed in the field
We’re blessed when we come and when we go
We cast down every stronghold
Sickness and poverty must cease
For the devil is defeated
We are are blessed
No situation is perfect. You never know what someone has sacrificed to be where they are today. You can’t tell from the outside what pain someone my be enduring inside. But one thing you must trust, believe and plant deep in your heart…”that late in the midnight hour, God’s gonna turn it around, it’s gonna work in your favor.”
If you give God the glory, you can’t help but to see how blessed you are. If you focus on all of the negative things that have happen to you in life; that’s all you will ever see and experience. Did you know that what’s buried deep in your heart is what you’re manifesting on the outside today. Because the bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Do you spend as much time praying for your “heart” as you do praying for all of the material things you ask God to provide for you? Just a little something to ponder on hump day.
May Your Steps Fulfill Their Purpose.
