The Bible says that Jesus would awake in the early morning dawn and find a quite place to pray.
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35 KJV
What are you doing? Are you putting in the sacrifice of early morning pray? If you are not; I pray that you start immediately.
I arise everyday at 4:00am; and it’s not easy. Some mornings, I just want to cry out Lord please let me sleep in and then I remember what Jesus Christ endured. So I roll out of bed and find the strength to make it to my private pray room where The Holy Spirit refreshes me and starts me on my day. There in the early morning dawn, I’m reminded of the sacrifice of “All Things God”.
I’m reminded that to sacrifice is to surrender, to give up and to give in. It’s difficult to do that when everything in this world tells us to do the opposite. But you must keep in the forefront of your mind that you are not of this world and that you must be transformed out of it; by the renewing of your minds.
Father, I pray for every reader that comes across this page, today and in the future; there are not coincidences with you. My prayer for each of them is that they begin to give you the first fruits of their day and set aside personal prayer and worship time with you. That they begin to renew their minds daily with The Word of God and that they seek the guidance of their most trusted advisor, The Holy Spirit. Amen
I love this praise and worship song titled “Here As In Heaven” by Elevation Worship. I’m enjoying this music as I sit quietly on the lanai worshipping in the early morning dawn.
