We should live in contentment each and every day but we don’t because we buy into what the world tells us we should have. We live in comparison to one another and that makes it impossible to live a content live.

Today, social media is one of the biggest contributors to our restlessness in ourselves.  We compare our lives to a snapshot of a moment in time of a complete stranger without truly understanding their journey. But we must be like Paul when he said in Philippians 4:11-13, 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
